International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (OIDP) 2026
We are pleased to announce that the call for proposals for the 25th Edition of the Conference of the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (OIDP), which will take place in Kraków on 21–23 September 2026, opens on 11 March 2026 and will remain open until 30 April 2026, 11:59 p.m.
This is a unique opportunity for anyone wishing to submit their proposal and engage in dialogue as well as exchange experiences with activists and experts from around the world. Participation in the event is not only a chance to present your own initiatives and perspectives, but also a meaningful contribution to the development and strengthening of democratic participation at the international level.
We warmly encourage submissions of individual presentations, fully formed panels, workshops, and project presentations. We value diverse formats and interdisciplinary dialogue, which is why we invite both experienced conference contributors as well as those who wish to appear as panelists for the first time.
To better prepare your proposal, please refer to the thematic tracks described in the concept note available at the link Concept Note – OIDP 2026. This document contains detailed information on the thematic scope and program assumptions.
We will be delighted if you join the group of panelists and co-creators of the program. It is your contribution that gives the event its unique character.
