Important changes for the hotel industry: new fire safety regulations now in force
Accommodation establishments and premises providing hotel services are now required to be equipped with autonomous smoke detectors as of 30 June 2026.
In certain cases, they are also required to install carbon monoxide detectors. These obligations result from regulations introduced in 2024, with the compliance deadline for existing accommodation facilities having now come into effect.
The new regulations are intended to enhance the safety of guests staying in accommodation establishments across Poland by introducing additional fire prevention measures.
