The 1st European Occupational Therapy Congress (1st OT-Europe Congress) will be held in Kraków, Poland in 2024

The European Occupational Therapy Congress takes place every three years. At this year's Virtual Congress in Prague, the rights to host the event in 2024 were awarded to Poland. The congress will be held from 15 to 19 October 2024 at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre.

The co-organisers of the congress are the Polish Occupational Therapy Association, whose president is Prof. Aneta Bac, and Occupational Therapy Europe (OT-Europe). Mazurkas Congress Management will fulfil the function of PCO.

Occupational therapy is a form of therapy that activates patients with physical and motor limitations. Thanks to movement, integration and art exercises performed under the supervision of a specialist, disabled or elderly people practise moving and coping with everyday activities. Occupational therapy in Poland has a very long tradition.

Not only is the 1st OT-Europe Congress support in promoting modern occupational therapy, but also an excellent opportunity for Polish occupational therapists to exchange professional and scientific experiences with colleagues from other European countries.
