Krakow still among top cities for city break

According to the annual British Post Office Travel Money City Costs Barometer survey, Krakow once again ranked among the most attractive cities for a city break in Europe. Last year it ranked third.

n the study, experts consider the twelve most typical expenses when traveling and compare their prices in 37 European cities. These include, for example, the cost of a two-night stay for two in a three-star hotel, dinner with wine, the cost of sightseeing and public transportation.

Vilnius opens the ranking, followed by Lisbon and France's Lille. Cracow ranked just behind the podium - in fourth place, although it was third in terms of accommodation (behind Vilnius and Lille). However, it fared much more expensively in the meal category compared to the competition (cheaper were Lisbon, Athens, Vilnius and Lille). Of the Polish cities, Warsaw also guarantees tourists a good value for money - it was ranked tenth in this ranking (down one position compared to last year).

The list of surveyed cities as the most expensive destinations is closed by Amsterdam, Belfast, Edinburgh, Helsinki and Venice.
