Climate change requires decisive action – Kraków is committed to concrete solutions and has been rewarded for this. During the PRECOP conference in Katowice, our city was honored with the Green Changer award in the “Cities” category. The award was received on behalf of the Mayor of Kraków by Ewa Całus, the city's climate representative.

The travel portal Tourlane has published a ranking of the most beautiful historic centers in Europe. Krakow topped the list, with its Old Town being recognized for its unique cultural values and atmosphere conducive to discovering the city's history at every turn.

Kraków moved up to 53rd place among the 81 cities included in the 2025 edition. What is particularly pleasing is that our city made it to the podium in the “Most Improved Destinations” category, ranking 2nd among the destinations with the most improved results in the world.

The “Destination Poland Green Academy” is launched – a nationwide educational program of the Polish Tourist Organization (POT) in cooperation with the SITE Poland Association. The aim of the project is to support the MICE industry in building competencies, implementing good practices, and consciously designing events in accordance with the principles of sustainable development and ESG.

The City Destinations Alliance (CityDNA) successfully concluded the 39th edition of the prestigious CityDNA Summer School in Luxembourg, hosting 48 participants from 18 countries. Representatives of the Kraków Convention Bureau also took part in the intensive program of learning, experience exchange, and networking, continuing the city's mission to develop staff competencies and strengthen Kraków's position in the meetings market.
