On 9 April 2025, Kraków hosted representatives from seven European cities who gathered to discuss experiences and challenges related to managing night-time urban life.

On May 13 and 14, Krakow will become the venue for an important event of international stature dedicated to the decarbonization of heating and cooling in European cities - the Decarb Cities 2025 conference. It is addressed primarily to representatives of local governments, but also to representatives of institutions or companies that already now or in the coming years will face challenges in this area.

The Central Statistical Office, in cooperation with the Ministry of Sport and Tourism, has launched a modern analytical portal called Tourism+.

Tourism+ is an innovative interactive tool for tracking changes and comparing data to support tourism development at local, regional and national levels. It combines data from official statistical surveys and booking portals, providing comprehensive insight into the tourism market.

Krakow, Poland's tourist showcase, has been attracting visitors from all over the world for years. In providing tourists with the necessary information and support during their stay in the city, a key role should be played by an efficient, integrated tourist information system, of which tourist information points are a part. In the interest of the sustainable development of Krakow's tourism, and taking into account the needs of all recipients of the city's offer, the activities of tourist information points will be managed by the Association of the Tourist Organization of the Capital Royal City of Krakow (Krakow Tourism Alliance) from April 1.

Kraków encourages representatives of the catering industry - restaurants, cafes, bars, pubs and clubs - to work together to build a positive image of the city and improve the quality of life of its residents.

From 10-13 March 2025, the historic city of Krakow will host the LRE Forum 2025, the LRE Foundation's annual event that brings together members, partners, and tourism professionals to network with WWII-related organizations, explore travel trade opportunities, and gain fresh perspective on the WWII heritage sector. The event is organized by the LRE Foundation in collaboration with LRE Poland and the City of Krakow.

Conventa 2025 – one of the most important events of the meetings industry in New Europe – took place on 18-20 February 2025 in Ljubljana. This prestigious event brings together event, congress and incentive tourism organizers, providing an excellent opportunity to establish new business contacts and share best practices in event organization. This year, the organizers have prepared a unique program, with a special emphasis on sustainable development and ecological responsibility.

On February 15, 2025, the Promotional Support Program for Meetings and Events (PPWdSW) is launched, initiated and coordinated by the Poland Convention Bureau - Meetings and Events Bureau of the Polish Tourism Organization (PCB POT). The aim of the POT is to implement a cyclical program for the promotion of Poland in the event of acquiring and organizing promotional events carried out by external entities.

In August 2024, Jacek Jordan took office as Kraków’s first and Poland’s second Night Mayor. At the same time, the Commission for Sustainable Night Economy was established under the Mayor of Kraków. It is composed of representatives of informal residents' groups, NGOs, the tourism industry, business owners, city officials, and municipal units. Acting as an advisory body, the commission presents its proposals to the Mayor in the form of resolutions, with the Night Mayor serving as its chair.
