International review course in internal medicine in Krakow
The 9th edition of the McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine (MIRCIM) will be held in Krakow on 9-11 May. The McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine (MIRCIM) is a platform that brings together globally-recognised experts in their fields of internal medicine to present current clinical practice guidelines for different diseases, answer questions, and conduct workshops. The course is held in English.
This year, participants are especially welcome to take part in a session organised under the aegis of the European Society of Hypertension, dedicated to practical aspects of treating arterial hypertension following the latest guidelines.
The MIRCIM will also host a contest for the best clinical case report in the area of internal medicine – Best Case Report Contest (www.mircim.eu/bcrc), and a session for those who teach medicine – Medical Education Forum. MIRCIM participants will be able to enjoy a special piano concert by Kevin Kenner accompanied by Vienna Morphing Soloists (www.mircim.eu/concert).
The MIRCIM is organised by the McMaster University (Canada) and the Polish Institute for Evidence-Based Medicine, in cooperation with the European Federation of Internal Medicine, International Society of Internal Medicine, Jagiellonian University Medical College, Center for Medical Postgraduate Education, and internal medicine associations from over 40 countries.
The MIRCIM’s high level of professional and organisational standards attract doctors from all over the world to come to Krakow (previous editions of the MIRCIM were joined by doctors from almost 60 countries).
