Targi w Krakowie with new president
Targi w Krakowie with a new Ewa Woch, co-founder and former vice-president of Targi w Krakowie, has taken over as CEO, replacing Grazyna Grabowska, who decided to retire after many years of intensive work.
Pawel Niklinski continues as vice president of the board, while Malgorzata Borowiec, who has been a member of the board since 2020, has been promoted to vice president of the Krakow Fair. Marcin Bugajski remains in his current role as a board member.
Ewa Woch is a person well known to the meetings industry - she has been with Targi w Krakowie since its inception, and for many years was responsible for strategic areas of the company. From 2008 to 2015 she was managing director of easyFairs Poland Sp. z o.o. She was awarded the Honoris Gratia medal for her services to Krakow, and in 2015 she won the title of Manager of the Year in the Lesser Poland Leader competition. She is also a member of the Council of the Polish Chamber of Exhibition Industry, and vice-chairman of the Council of the Krakow Alliance.
At Targi w Krakowie, she was responsible, among other things, for relations with key partners - both domestic and foreign - and the development of the portfolio of trade fair and congress events. She also supervised the Congress Department (PCO) and the Rental Department of the EXPO Krakow International Trade Fair and Congress Center. Privately - a lover of distant travel and exploring distant cultures.
- Although the past three decades have been a time of intensive development, I am convinced that the greatest successes are yet to come," says Ewa Woch, president of Targi w Krakowie. - Today our activities go far beyond the organization of trade fairs. We create international congresses, conferences, symposia, and EXPO Krakow is a space that serves business, science and culture. We are planning to expand EXPO Krakow with a new hall. This is an investment that will not only respond to the growing needs of the market, but will also strengthen Krakow's position as a major congress center in Europe. We want to create a space ready for events of the highest rank - innovative, open and international," stresses Woch.
Targi w Krakowie is today the largest organizer of fair and congress events in southern Poland and the third largest in the country. The company owns the EXPO Krakow International Trade Fair and Congress Center, which attracts more than 100,000 participants from around the world each year. In addition to international trade fairs, the company's calendar includes prestigious congresses and symposia, as well as cultural, business and educational events.
