The course is organized in cooperation between NordiQC Academy of immunohistochemistry and
Jagiellonian University and Oncology Centre in Krakow with support of Polish Society of Pathology and
Norwegian Society of Pathology.
Goal:
To provide updated diagnostically relevant information on immunohistochemical markers, useful
antibodies, optimal clones and antibody panels applicable in diagnostic pathology as well as highlight the
possible laboratory and diagnostic pitfalls. The lectures will focus on broad fields in diagnostic pathology
and selected relevant topics.
The course will consist of series of lectures and case demonstrations based on virtual slides over two
consecutive days. Recommendations will be based on the results of the relevant epitope assessments
conducted in NordiQC (ww.nordiqc.org) as well as other EQA challenges and literature focused on
protocol optimization and standardization.
