The Michelin Guide, considered an authority in the culinary world, will also recommend hotels as from next year. Facilities offering the most exceptional experience will be awarded a new distinction - the Michelin key. The first hotels awarded with Michelin keys are to be announced next year, but the recommended facilities are already known. Krakow is the city with the highest number of distinguished venues, confirming the high quality of accommodation in the capital of Polish tourism.

The tastes and scents of Christmas are best experienced at Christmas markets. CNN urges visitors to visit the Krakow Christmas Market, citing it as one of the most interesting in the world and among the largest in Europe. The market will open on 24 November and, as every year, will enrich the unique atmosphere of the city.

The International Value Economy Congress Open Eyes Economy Summit  at ICE Krakow for the eighth time! This year we will mainly talked about social energy, artificial intelligence, energy transition, the situation of local governments and health security. 

At the initiative of the Krakow City Office, one of the most important cyclical events of Krakow tourism – the Tourism Forum – was held at the Krzysztofory Palace on 26 October. The event was an opportunity to sum up the season, discuss the future, and inaugurate a momentous event in the history of Krakow tourism – the establishment of the Association of Tourist Organisations of the Royal Capital City of Krakow.

The “Organizacja Turystyczna Stołecznego Królewskiego Miasta Krakowa” association (“Tourist Organisation of the Royal Capital City of Krakow”), with its headquarters at ul. Bracka 1, was registered with the National Court Register on 13 October 2023, and thus Krakow has gained a partner for implementing a sustainable tourism policy.

22 new Honorary Ambassadors of Polish Congresses were named by the Chapter of the Programme in October.
