Active participation Kraków Convention Bureau in international fairs
Business tourism fairs and presentations of cities in which the Kraków Convention Bureau participates are intended for industry representatives from the MICE sector, i.e. representatives of cities, national tourist organizations, conference facilities, hoteliers, carriers, professional congress organizers, organizers of motivational events. Business talks during the fairs and presentations are held based on individual schedules of meetings between exhibitors and Hosted Buyers, i.e. selected organizers of business meetings.
Participation in business tourism fairs is important for Kraków due to the promotion of the City in the field of conference tourism and the tasks undertaken by the Kraków City Office in the field of the Congress Bureau.
These fairs provide an opportunity to present the comprehensive offer of the Kraków business tourism industry on foreign markets.
The specificity of industry fairs is the meetings of buyers - suppliers, i.e. suppliers (representatives of cities, facilities, service providers) with clients who are participants in a special program run by the organizers of the fair. This program consists of inviting to the fair management staff of companies and organizations looking for specific offers - they are called Hosted Buyers. The fair organizers provide a professionally prepared program, which includes an electronic meeting calendar created separately for each exhibitor, launched two months before the fair, with the option of entering and planning meetings.
