About the initiative


To meet the expectations of the tourism industry in Krakow, now going through a serious crisis after more than two years of the pandemic and the situation east of the Polish border, an initiative was launched to create the Krakow Tourism Alliance. This Alliance has the effective means to jointly implement projects that will improve the condition of the tourism market in Krakow. Its main objective is the efficient implementation by Krakow of the recommendations in the “Sustainable Tourism Policy for Krakow in the Years 2021-2028”.

10 years together. Anniversary of three Krakow venues


Krakow houses three venues that are of strategic importance for the promotion of the city, as well as the development of tourism and culture: TAURON Arena Krakow, ICE Krakow Congress Centre and EXPO Krakow.

International review course in internal medicine in Krakow


The 9th edition of the McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine (MIRCIM) will be held in Krakow on 9-11 May. The McMaster International Review Course in Internal Medicine (MIRCIM) is a platform that brings together globally-recognised experts in their fields of internal medicine to present current clinical practice guidelines for different diseases, answer questions, and conduct workshops. The course is held in English. 

Kraków organises international debate on dementia for the first time


Nearly 1,000 delegates from 92 countries, including researchers, experts, and caregivers of people with Alzheimer's disease, shall be attending the Global Conference of Alzheimer's Disease International in Krakow, where they shall discuss the latest trends in the area of diagnosing and treating dementia, as well as comprehensive patient care solutions.

More Than You Expected in Brussels


On April 18, 2024, at The Hoxton Brussels Hotel, the International Office of the Polish Tourism Organisation (ZOPOT) in Brussels, along with the Poland Convention Bureau, organized a workshop titled "Poland. More Than You Expected" for 20 representatives of international associations, congress organizers, and leading media outlets focusing on association meetings.

Tourism has its say! A recap of the Krakow Tourism Forum


At the initiative of the Department of Tourism of the Krakow City Office, on 11 April the Bunkier Sztuki Gallery of Contemporary Art  held one of the most important recurring events of the Krakow tourism industry – the Tourism Forum. The meeting served as a platform to recognize persons and institutions that have contributed to tourism in Krakow, and to hold discussions on the condition and prospects for the development of tourism in Poland and worldwide, including an issue that is now of utmost importance – sustainable development.



Poland Events Impact 2023


The meetings and events industry plays a crucial role in the Polish economy, as confirmed by the latest results of the "Poland Events Impact 2023 - Economic Impact of the Meetings Industry on the Polish Economy" report. The report, summarizing comprehensive research on the economic significance of meetings and events organized in Poland, reveals the significant contribution of this industry to job creation, generating gross value added, and increasing the country's GDP.

It is now known who the new Polish Congress Ambassadors will be


On 21 March this year, an award ceremony was held for people in the world of science, economy and business who played a role in attracting international congresses to Poland. The ceremony was held at the Polish Congress Ambassadors Gala in Katowice. Five people associated with the Krakow Convention Bureau were among those receiving awards.

What the year 2024 has in store for the Kraków Tourism Alliance


This is the first time that the Kraków Tourism Alliance has held its extraordinary annual meeting with its new members. It was the very first opportunity this year to find out what the Association has planned for the coming months and see their new visual identifier. The budget for the coming months was also approved during that meeting.
