Poland’s first medical symposium on multidisciplinary treatment of primary cancers and spinal metastases
The event will be an innovative medical and scientific symposium whose aim will be to build general medical teams capable of meeting the challenges posed by the astounding pace of advances in systemic cancer treatment, radiation therapy and spine surgery.
The meeting in Kraków is expected to boost the process of building a platform for sharing experiences and to foster the formation of well-coordinated teams. The organisers would also like to showcase the models of good cooperation that the teams have already put in place.
The symposium is organised by the Polish and Czech Spine Surgery Societies under the scientific patronage of the Polish Society of Radiation Oncology and the Slovak Society of Radiation Oncology. It is sponsored by BrainLab and Elekta, among others.
The list of attending speakers includes professors from Poland, Czechia, Slovakia, Ukraine, Slovenia and Croatia – physicians, specialists in neurosurgery, orthopaedics, radiation oncology, clinical oncology and radiology.
