Works of executive groups consisting of representatives of the Kraków tourist market have started. Their goal was to elaborate solutions and projects fitting in with the recommendations of Kraków’s Sustainable Tourism Policy for the years 2021–2028. The document specifies nine areas of key importance for tourism management in the city.

For the second time in a row, Kraków was chosen City of the Year – this time for City of the Year 2021 –  by Belgian Internet users in the Belgian Tourist Award – What's up! 2021 competition. The Belgians could submit their votes from 1^st till 30^th July.

“The KRAKÓW NETWORK protocol, announced back in March 2021, has undoubtedly revolutionised our industry. Nearly 50 representatives of the local MICE industry were involved in the development of the document, with more than 180 companies and institutions signing on the provisions and regulations worked out during the three-month negotiations. 

The 24th International Book Fair in Kraków, which took place from 14 to 17 October in EXPO Kraków, will be remembered not only as of the first stationary literary event in Kraków during almost two years, but also as an event giving hope, reminding how important it is to have contact with other people, have a sincere conversation, be friendly and smile.

The European Occupational Therapy Congress takes place every three years. At this year's Virtual Congress in Prague, the rights to host the event in 2024 were awarded to Poland. The congress will be held from 15 to 19 October 2024 at the ICE Kraków Congress Centre.

New research has revealed that association conference delegates long to go back to normal events and want to meet in person, not virtually. 

On September 27, the work on the construction of a new apron at Kraków Airport officially started. The expansion of the western part of the apron is aimed at improving the capacity of the aircraft apron area. The entire investment, worth PLN 133.7 million, has been coordinated with the planned reconstruction and expansion of the passenger terminal and the construction of a new runway.

The 8th Polish Congress of Entrepreneurship was held from 5 to 7 October in Krakow. This year, the event began with study visits, so that the participants of the Congress could learn about all the new projects implemented in the city.

Will the Book Fair in Kraków, which will take place between the 14th and 17th of October in EXPO Kraków, be the same as it used to be? No, because the world has changed, and the fair has changed, too. One thing, however, will remain the same – a passion for reading and the need to have contact with literature.
